Chaps & Chinks
One of a kind, hand-carved chaps and chinks for work or competition. Chaps provide protection against brush, weather, rope burns, kicks, bites and other hazards.
Some chaps are designed to be stepped into, and wrap around the entire leg. Others only close around the top of the leg, and hang loose after then knee.
Just let us know what you want, and we'll make them!
What are Chinks?
Chinks are a shorter version of chaps, and end just below the knee. Chinks fasten with buckles or snaps just above the knee, but below the thigh. Whereas, chaps cover the entire leg, and come in several styles.
Chaps
We make three different styles of Chaps:
- Rodeo Chaps: worn in competition, with elaborate designs, fringe & more decorations.
- Batwing Chaps: A fuller cut chap, that attaches to the rider at the hip and knee, but flow freely below the knee. Batwing are the more typical work chaps, providing protection and movement.
- Shotgun Chaps: Straight like a shotgun barrel, these chaps encircle the entire leg, attaching to rider at both the hip & ankle.
